The Client Company has tasked the Private Investigation Institute with verifying whether the employee, who requests 3 days of leave each month to assist a disabled relative, complies with the requirements of the Law.

In this case, private investigations in the corporate field consist of static and dynamic observation of the subject under investigation from the public road, in jargon the so-called surveillance and tailing activities.

Specifically, surveillance consists of observing a so-called target which in our case corresponds to the residence of the subject under investigation, until their departure from it.

The surveillance instead consists of following the subject once they have left the target and during the time period corresponding with working hours.

Through this specific activity, the private investigator and his operators documented that the subject of the investigation, during working hours and while on leave to assist his disabled mother (who lives elsewhere), instead of going to her or performing complementary and useful activities for her assistance, was spending time on leisure and private interests.

Specifically, the employee was seen walking in a shopping mall, walking in a wooded area, going to a riding stable to take care of their horse and engaging in other activities not relevant to the reasons for which they had requested leave from work.

Once the investigations were completed, an investigative report of approximately 90 pages was drafted, including integrated photographic material.

After the report was delivered to the Client Company, it promptly and accurately contested the behaviors observed in the employee, proceeding to suspend the same from service with the benefit of salary.

Following the counter-observations received from the employee, obviously completely inconsistent, the dismissal was notified to him with loss of salary retroactively, from the moment of suspension.

The AIRO Institute of Private Investigations specializes in Corporate Investigations for the protection of assets and resources, as well as the search for evidence to support in court.
