Brescia, March 2, 2026
A institutional meeting was held today at the Brescia Police Headquarters between the Chief of Police, the Head of the Anti-Crime Office, and the Federpol Delegate for the province of Brescia (CEO of AIRO Investigazioni).
The meeting focused on the planning of a structured conference program in the province of Brescia, dedicated to the topic of gender-based violence, with particular attention to the legal and operational tools for the protection of victims.
During the meeting, strong appreciation was expressed for the initiative of the Federpol Provincial Delegate and full agreement with the project approach, recognizing its significant social impact and its preventive and informative function towards the citizens.
The involvement of the Carabinieri Corps
In recent days, an additional and equally significant institutional meeting was also held between the Commander of the Carabinieri Company of Brescia, on behalf of the Provincial Commander of the Carabinieri of Brescia, and the Provincial Delegate of Federpol, on the same subject.
Even in this venue, strong support for the project was expressed, highlighting the importance of a synergistic action between institutions, law enforcement, and professionals in the investigative sector to counter phenomena such as:
• gender-based violence
• domestic abuse
• stalking
• crimes generally included within the so-called "Red Code"
Conference program objectives
The series of meetings, which will be offered to the most representative municipalities of the province of Brescia, aims to:
• inform the citizens about the regulatory tools provided by the Codice Rosso;
• illustrate the criminal and administrative protections for victims of stalking and domestic abuse;
• clarify the role of the Law Enforcement and the Judicial Authority;
• present the associative and territorial resources for support;
• delve into the investigative contribution of private investigators in the activities of document collection and evidence reconstruction, in compliance with the current regulatory framework.
The initiative stems from the awareness that prevention involves qualified, clear, and accessible information. Knowing one's rights and protection tools is the first step to stopping situations of abuse and encouraging the emergence of criminally relevant behaviors.
A project with a strong social impact
The consent expressed by the institutions involved constitutes a concrete signal of attention towards an issue that, even in the Brescia area, requires constant cultural and operational oversight.
The conference program on gender-based violence in Brescia will focus not only on the legal analysis of crimes such as mistreatment, stalking, and other offenses related to the Red Code, but also on the promotion of a culture of legality and social responsibility.
In the coming days, the official format of the meetings will be defined, which will subsequently be submitted to local authorities for the start of the calendar in the provincial territory.
