Brescia, June 12, 2025 – A day full of meanings and perspectives took place at the Teatro Dis_Play of the Brixia Forum on the occasion of the General Assembly of Confindustria Brescia.

The annual event represented not only an institutional moment of assessment but also an opportunity for collective reflection and a handover of leadership that represents the beating heart of the Brescian industrial system.

The day was divided into two distinct parts: a private session reserved for members and a public session open to guests and authorities.

The private session: responsibility and associative democracy

During the first segment, the member companies participated in the voting for the approval of the financial statement, the amendment of the statute, and, above all, for the election of the new association leadership.

In this context, AIRO Investigazioni, as a member, actively participated in the deliberations, confirming its commitment to supporting shared governance and the values of the Confindustria system.

Paolo Streparava elected new president

With broad consensus, Paolo Streparava has been elected President of Confindustria Brescia for the 2025–2029 term. A long-standing entrepreneur and a key figure in the local and national industrial world, Streparava succeeds Franco Gussalli Beretta, who receives a heartfelt thanks for his authoritative leadership and the decisive contribution offered during the four years of his term.

Alongside the new President, a team of eight Vice Presidents has been appointed, representing the variety and competence of the Brescia productive fabric, with mandates in strategic areas: innovation, sustainability, finance, industrial relations, internationalization, legality, training, and associative development.

The public session: vision, testimonies, and moderation by Nicola Porro

In the late afternoon, the Assembly continued in a public format in the presence of institutions, the press, and representatives of the economic and social sectors. The title chosen for the 2025 edition – “New Horizons. The Enterprise Continues” – served as the guiding theme for the day's speeches and contributions.

The journalist and television host Nicola Porro led the proceedings, skillfully and rhythmically moderating the discussions, giving voice to the key figures of the national industrial scene.

Particularly significant were the words of Franco Gussalli Beretta, who outlined an assessment of his term focused on unity and shared growth. Following this, the inaugural speech of the newly elected president Streparava outlined the guidelines for the future.

His message was condensed into three key words that summarize his vision: openness, change, growth. A clear statement of intent, reflecting the ambition to lead the association towards a new phase of responsibility, modernity, and inclusivity.

Also participating in the event were Benedetto Vigna, CEO of Ferrari, with a speech focused on innovation and leadership, and the National President of Confindustria Emanuele Orsini, who emphasized the importance of territorial cohesion and the solid representation of the Italian production system.

The closing, entrusted to a light dinner, represented a moment of networking and informal exchange, reaffirming the value of direct relationships between businesses.
