Strong decrease in robberies and thefts in the province of Brescia in the first four months of 2019. This is what emerges from the examination of the general territorial situation of the province of Brescia, which was held on May 17 in a meeting convened by Prefect Attilio Visconti with the heads of the law enforcement agencies, attended by Undersecretary Nicola Molteni.

For crimes of particular social alarm - robberies and thefts - there is, in fact, a decrease of 46% and 21% respectively in the first four months of 2019 compared to the data from the first four months of 2018.

Prevention and repression activities, accompanied by the progressive strengthening of the State Police workforce, have made Brescia safer.
The consolidation of the outlined framework is supported by numerous projects for the implementation of video surveillance systems carried out with the well-known "security fund," financed by the Government.

Particular attention has also been dedicated to the issue of combating drug dealing in areas characterized by severe urban decay and especially near schools.
